He is survived by his wife Papia Guha and son Sanket Guha. His family had released a media statement after his death that read, ‘We regret to announce the sad demise of our dear Mr Pradeep Guha. In these COVID times the family has requested to be allowed to grieve in private and will share a date for a prayer meeting in a few days. No condolence visit at home due to COVID restrictions. Please keep him in your prayers.’
Bollywood celebrities not only mourned the loss of the producer but also reminisced fond memories that they shared with him. While Priyanka Chopra recalled her pageant days with his ‘mentor’, Lara Dutta called him ‘Queen Maker’.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who was one of the first celebs to condole Pradeep’s death, tweeted, “Deeply shocked and saddened to hear about my friend @guhapradeep‘s passing away !! May you rest in peace Pradeep.”
