Movies are often made keeping life experiences in mind; the same goes with songs. Anu Malik‘s brother Abu Malik, who was once jilted in love (refuses to elaborate on details), has readied a cheesy song on his heartbreak.
The song goes like this: “Kal raat maine sapna dekha that, Tu kisi aur ki baahon mein so rahi thi, Main cheekha chilaya roya tha, Tu dekh kar mujh ko hans rahi thi, Kal raat maine sapna dekha tha”.
Abu flew off to Manhattan to shoot the song which largely features him, coupled with graphics and animations.
Abu further reveals that he will be talking to music companies to launch his song. “The talks have been fruitful. It is a matter of time when this song will start resonating,” he says rather confidently.
When asked why he chose to go the objectionable way- the number in question containing a line ‘tu kisi aur ke baahon mein so rahi thi’- Abu Malik quipped, “Times have changed, haven’t they?”.
