Kartik was mired in a controversy when he was out from ‘Freddy’ when it was supposed to be produced by Shah Rukh Khan and prior to that, when he was out from Karan Johar‘s ‘Dostana 2’ opposite Janhvi Kapoor. ‘Freddy’ is now being produced by Ekta Kapoor with Kartik back in the saddle. But all that is a thing of the past. ETimes has it that Kartik is quite happening, currently. A source tells, “He is in the younger Ranbir-Shahid group, that’s how the makers look at him.”
