Akshay Kumar’s mom Aruna Bhatia passed away today. The actor took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans. ”She was my core. And today I feel an unbearable pain at the very core of my existence. My maa Smt Aruna Bhatia peacefully left this world today morning and got reunited with my dad in the other world. I respect your prayers as I and my family go through this period. Om Shanti”, he tweeted.

Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of ‘Thalaivii’. Talking about the film, she recently revealed how one scene of the film bears an ‘uncanny resemblance with an incident in her life. Recalling the time when the film team was shooting the assault scene of Jayalalithaa in the assembly, Kangana added that it was exactly the same time when Shiv Sena was ‘breaking’ her house in Mumbai. “I felt like real and reel life is clashing into each other,” she said.

Akki feels unbearable pain, losing his mom. She had been ill for some time and was admitted to a Hospital in Mumbai a few days back. Akshay even flew down to the city from London on September 6 after her health deteriorated.

Rumours were rife that Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, South biggie ‘RRR’ and John Abraham’s action entertainer ‘Attack’ will release on digital streaming platforms. However the production house, Pen Studios have denied any such decision. The team issued a statement saying, “We would like to clarify that Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR and Attack will release in cinemas. There have been several rumours doing rounds about these films releasing on OTT platforms before cinemas which are untrue. These magnum opus films are made for the big screen experience and would be releasing in theatres.” Looks like we are finally hopeful towards big theatrical treats!
