While speaking to a news portal, Mallika avoided taking names and stated that last year an actor died and in a very misogynistic way people started blaming his girlfriend. She went on to slam the perception towards women and they are treated. Indirectly defending Rhea, Mallika further stated that there was no proof that the ‘poor girlfriend’ was involved and that people were blaming and manipulating her. Mallika Sherawat is all set to take over OTT with her show ‘Nakaab’ which traces the mysterious death of an actor. When asked if her show is based on real life incident, Mallika maintained that she doesn’t want to take names but it does feature a lot of similar things. Apart from Mallika Sherawat, ‘Nakaab’ also features Esha Gupta, Gautam Rode and Ankita Chakrobarty in lead roles.
