Manoj Bajpayee’s father hospitalised in Delhi, actor halts shoot to be with family – Times of India

Manoj Bajpayee’s father has been hospitalised in Delhi following his critical health condition. The actor, who has been busy shooting for his next venture in Kerala has rushed to the capital to be with his family. A source revealed, “Manoj’s father’s condition is quite critical. After hearing the news, Manoj rushed to Delhi to be with his father and his family. He was shooting for his project in Kerala.”

Recently, Manoj was in the news for a criminal defamation complaint that he has filed against Kamaal Rashid Khan at a court in Indore. The actor has taken action following a derogatory tweet by KRK and according to PTI, Manoj Bajpayee has filed a criminal complaint in the court of judicial magistrate first class (JMFC) under IPC section 500 (punishment for defamation). The objectionable tweet in question was posted by KRK last month and reportedly tarnished Manoj Bajpayee’s image while speaking about the actor’s last OTT release ‘The Family Man 2’.

Manoj Bajpayee hails from Bihar, he had shifted to Delhi to study and had then moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in films. The 52-year-old actor is currently basking in the success of his numerous OTT releases. Speaking about streaming platforms Manoj had shared, “There are so many fabulous actors who are working on OTT. Their performance is so amazing that I keep learning a thing or two from them. Also, over the years our industry was making films that did not accommodate these many actors but OTT has changed it. It’s a blessing for every department.”
