Dev: Give some privacy to Nusrat Jahan and her baby boy – Times of India

Much has been said about Nusrat Jahan since her pregnancy news broke out. We have seen how moral policing became a personal attack on social media. Her son Yishaan is barely a month old he’s already been dragged into controversy. Driven by voyeurism, even the little boy’s birth certificate became a sort of public property while everyone was keen to identify his father.

Well, Dev, who has known Nusrat Jahan for years and also her colleague, says it’s time we should give some privacy to the new mom.

“It’s completely her personal matter. She knows what is wrong and what is right. There must have been some positive thinking when she took the decision. And, we also have to accept it. She gave birth to a beautiful boy now let her live her life. Let them come in public and let them say what they have to say about their personal life. She can happily live her life with whoever she wants to. It can be Yash or anyone else. It’s their personal choice. Let them talk. Don’t jump to conclusions and till then give them some privacy, for the time being, shared Dev taking a cheeky dig at all those social media moral policing.

Nusrat Jahan was blessed with a baby boy on August 26. Incidentally, when the actor-politician was admitted to a Kolkata private hospital on August 25, actor Yash Dasgupta, allegedly her boyfriend drove Nusrat to the hospital. Post-delivery he had also confirmed that Nusrat and her baby are doing fine.

Earlier this year a huge controversy had erupted when Nusrat revealed that her high-profile wedding to Kolkata-based businessman Nikhil Jain in 2019 was invalid under Indian law. Responding to her claim, Nikhil had claimed though he had insisted many times Nusrat refused to go for the registry.
