Now, actor Gajraj Rao took a dig at those who create such reels. He took to his Instagram handle to share a video made by comedian and artist Prasad Bhat who also blasted people for using ‘vulgar’ songs for making reels without even understanding the lyrics.
His message addressed this latest trend of kids, elderly ladies, and families dancing to songs that have such vulgar words.
“Can you guys read the meaning of the songs before making reels on Instagram especially with your kids or babies in the video? I see the whole families including daada, daadi going ‘Shut up and bend over’. Are we really ok with this? What’s going on? How much of dignity do you want to lose to go viral?” Prasad Bhat asked in his video.
Gajraj also raised some serious questions re-sharing the video and wrote, “Totally agree with Prasad…”
As the seasoned actor shared the video, many others from the industry backed his post. For instance, Richa Chadha wrote, “Agree! Makes me uncomfortable to see children dance provocatively to songs they (hopefully but who am I kidding) don’t understand. IG is a great place to connect, share your art, your voice with the world… But painful to see everyone dancing in Reels…doctors, bankers nutritionists, book readers… sab ko naach naach ke apni baat batani pad rahi hai. KYU ! 😂”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Gajraj Rao will next be seen in the Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Maidaan’, being directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
