In an interview with a news portal, Rakul reportedly said that she was super excited to finally step out of the country after two years. Although she is shooting a little away from London, she makes it into the city on her off days.
Elaborating further, she added that they have been shooting in a bio-bubble. According to her, it is easier and it keeps the whole team together. It is safer, strategic to shoot a project from start to finish and then come back.
Rakul also went on to say that she is grateful that she is getting to work at a time when a lot of people are finding it hard to get back at their jobs. The actress added that she feels blessed that shoots have resumed after the second COVID-19 wave. She also hoped that theatres would open up so that everything that they are working on can be enjoyed on the big screen.
Meanwhile, she was last seen in ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ with Arjun Kapoor in the lead role. It also featured Neena Gupta in a key role. The movie was released on an OTT platform and received mixed reviews.
Next, apart from the Akshay Kumar starrer, she also has ‘Mayday’ which stars Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles.
