
While interacting with her fans, she also spoke about ‘depression’. One of the fans asked her, “How did you beat depression?” To this, Ira shared a video and said, “Get to know yourself. Figure out what you like, what you don’t like. Who you like, who you don’t like and what you want and then you’ll try and start to live your life that way. Earlier, Ira had revealed that she has been clinically depressed for more than 4 years. Last year on World Mental Health Day, she had shared a video of herself where she revealed that she was dealing with depression. Along with the video, she had written, “A lot has been going on, a lot of people have a lot to say. Things are really confusing and stressful and simple and okay but not okay and… life all together. There’s no way to say it all in one go. But I’d like to think I’ve figured some stuff out, or at least figured out how to make it slightly more understandable.
