Hrithik Roshan celebrates two years of ‘War’, says ‘Miss everything about being on this set’ – Times of India

Siddharth Anand’s ‘War’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff completed two glorious years today. Commemorating the occasion, Hrithik took to his Twitter handle to share a poster of the film along with a heartfelt note celebrating the film’s success.

Check out his Tweet here:

Along with the poster, he wrote, ‘Miss everything about being on this set – co-working, collaborating, CREATING. #2YearsOfWar @iTIGERSHROFF @Vaaniofficial #SiddharthAnand @yrf’

Talking about his first reaction to the script of ‘War’, Hrithik told ANI, Well, it’s complicated. When I read the script I didn’t see anything in it that excited me. It was too frivolous and superficial. And I was into real cinema like, ‘Super 30’ at the time. On hearing my reaction both Sid and Adi rushed to my house and it took 5 mins worth of reframing for me to get the film. Adi told me to look at it as an entertainer like ‘Dhoom 2’.”

Elaborating further, he added, “And then we sat and went through the entire script again and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also realised my folly. Sometimes, it is important to get how the director wants to interpret the script. And having done ‘Bang Bang’ with Sid, I could trust in what they were saying.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik will be reuniting with Siddharth Anand for his next titled, ‘Fighter’. The actor will be seen sharing screen space with none other than Deepika Padukone for the first time in the film.

Apart from this, he has also been roped in for the official Hindi remake of ‘Vikram Vedha’ co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The film originally starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. After this, Hrithik will reportedly kick-start work on ‘Krrish 4’.
