In an interview with a news portal, Mallika recently revealed the name of that one web series that she would like to recommend to her fans. The actress stated that she absolutely loved and binge-watched ‘Handmaid’s Tale’. According to her she really loved it and would highly recommend people to watch it.
In another recent interview, she had opened up about her casting couch experience. Mallika reportedly said that she was ‘lucky’ to make a debut with hit films, but noted that her bold roles and her on-screen persona later left her in unpleasant situations. She recalled in a statement to Pinkvilla that after ‘Murder’, her bold image was established and a lot of male actors started taking a lot of liberties with her.
Speaking about her career in Bollywood, Mallika had told ETimes in an earlier interview, “I am grateful to Bollywood for what I have. Who was I? This place gave me a career, a name. I can live life on my terms and enjoy my economic freedom. I have had the chance to work and hobnob with some fantastic people. No one gets a life like that. Things have just become better with such great roles being penned for women today. I feel so encouraged. It gives hope to actresses like me. It’s the golden period for artists.”
