Earlier, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi extended support to Shah Rukh Khan after his son Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB in the alleged drugs case. Her tweet read, “Nothing harder for a parent than seeing their child in distress. Prayers to all”. Further stating that this is the price one pays for fame.
She added, “For all those targetting #Bollywood remember all the #NCB raids on filmstars? Yes nothing was found and nothing was proved. #Bollywood gawking is a tamasha. Its the price of fame.”
Aryan was presented before the Killa court along with others on Sunday evening. He was represented by senior advocate Satish Manshinde.The NCB Counsel, while agreeing that the offences are bailable, sought for remand till October 5, but court ordered Aryan and two others a one day custody.
Reportedly, Aryan Khan has been charged under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
