While he became favourite of late actor Feroz Khan, it was legendary actor Sunil Dutt who trusted his capabilities and gave him work. The actor also revealed that it was Sunil Dutt who gave him his name ‘Shakti’. His birth name is Sunil.

Today, his children Shraddha and Siddhant Kapoor are taking forward his legacy. While Shraddha has already created a space for herself in the industry, Siddhant is slowly but gradually carving a niche for himself.
