
Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, during his annual Dusherra rally, talked about the recent raids by the Narcotics Control Bureau. Without taking the name of the investigative agency, the CM said that they are interested in catching celebrities, get their photos clicked and make noise. He also added that while the central agency is recovering small quantity of drugs, Maharashtra police recovered drugs of Rs 150 crore.
The CM also referred to the opposition parties questioning his government after recent incidents of the drug seizure in Mumbai. He asked if the drug menace existed only in Maharashtra. Where is Mundra port where drugs worth crores of rupees were seized,” Thackeray asked
Meanwhile, after hearing heated arguments by the prosecution for Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the defence lawyers, Special Judge V.V. Patil kept his verdict on the bail pleas of Shah Rukh Khan‘s son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, who are among 20 nabbed so far in the sensational rave party raid of October 2, in abeyance for the next five days.
