Did Kim So Yeon replace Jo Bo Ah in the new season of ‘Tale Of The Ning-Tailed’ starring Lee Dong Wook? – Times of India

South Korean diva Kim So Yeon is likely to star in the upcoming seasons of Lee Dong Wook’s highly-anticipated K-Drama ‘Tale Of The Nine-Tailed.’

Previously, reports had suggested that actress Jo Bo Ah who was one of the lead roles alongside Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum in the first successful season of ‘Tale Of The Nine-Tailed’, will not be continuing her role as Nam Ji Ah in the upcoming instalments.

Responding to the reports of replacing Jo Bo Ah, Kim So Yeon’s agency J-Wide Company has now revealed that ‘Tale Of The Nine-Tailed 2′ is one of the projects that the actress has received a casting offer from. However, she is yet to finalise it.

For the unverse, ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed’ is a hit 2020 drama, starring Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah and Kim Bum originally. Narrating a story of a modern fantasy world, it focuses on a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) who settles down in a city hiding his identity until a producing director meets him while investigating the supernatural.

Last month, tvN’s representative confirmed that they are in discussion about the second season of the series. Aiming to have 16 episodes, it will be helmed by director Kang Shin Hyo with Lee Dong Wook alongside a new female lead, which can now possibly be Kim So Yeon.

While season 1 was set in a modern city, reportedly, the next seasons will feature historical backgrounds, including the Joseon Dynasty and Japanese colonial era.

Kim So Yeon last appeared in the hit series of ‘The Penthouse’.
