
She shares, “The thing is that I am very scared of darkness. And my parents have been well aware of this fact. So every time I wouldn’t listen to them they would just turn off the lights and that would scare the hell out of me when I was a child. I would quickly agree upon to what they are saying and cry out loud for them to turn on the lights. This trick was their hands on one for me to quit with my tantrums.” The actress says that even today she can’t sleep with her lights off. “I always leave a dim light on whenever I go to bed in my room,” she says.
In a recent video chat with BT, as she promoted her film, a remake of a Marathi horror flick Lapachhapi (2017), directed by Vishal Furia, the actress named Alia Bhatt, when she was asked who would suit the best for the role of a spooky character of Casper, who’s known to be a friendly ghost.
She said, “I think we can give it a twist this time with a heroine playing the lead part of the ghost. I think Alia would look cute as Casper.”
