As per reports, the film is most likely to release next year. The fantasy thriller also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. The film was initially set to arrive in 2020. But its production work got delayed owing to the coronavirus induced lockdown. So the makers had to postpone the release date. Brahmastra is touted to a superhero fantasy story that was initially announced as a trilogy.
‘Brahmastra’ is Ayan’s third film after ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani‘, both of which starred Ranbir Kapoor.
