
Now, according to industry sources, the much-anticipated Telugu action flick has grabbed 75 shows all total in Bengal while a few multiplexes have already reported sold-out shows.
The craze and hype surrounding ‘Pushpa’ points towards the fact that Allu Arjun is a pan-Indian star and ahead of the mass entertainer’s theatrical release tomorrow, just like many of his fans across the country, Arjun’s Kolkata fan base is also pretty much excited.
‘Pushpa’ happens to be Allu Arjun’s reunion with director Sukumar. They have previously delivered two blockbuster hits: ‘Arya’ and ‘Arya 2’. In fact, it is ‘Arya’ which turned Allu Arjun into an overnight star in the South.
‘Pushpa’ also has Rashmika Mandanna who is sharing the screen with Allu Arjun for the first time. The film is also the Tollywood debut of Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, who will be seen as the main antagonist in the movie. Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjay, Sunil and Anasuya Bharadwaj among others are playing pivotal roles as well.
