Sanjay Dutt: I am tired of telling Rajkumar Hirani to make Munna Bhai 3 – Times of India

After the first two successful installments of the Munna Bhai franchise, the audience has been eagerly waiting for the third film in the series, which has been a long pending one. Turns out, Munna Bhai himself belongs to the same group. Sanjay Dutt, who was a guest at Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav in Nagpur, which also happens to be director Rajkumar Hirani’s hometown, spoke about the same while interacting with guests recently.

He asked those present if they would like to see a third part of Hirani’s film franchise and got a roaring ‘yes’ in response. Dutt was quick to quip, “Mein Rajkumar Hirani ko bol bol ke thak gaya hu. Now, you all write letters to him and ask him to make part three soon!”

Donning an orange kurta in the city of oranges, Dutt was at his witty best as he spoke with fans. He even obliged them by reciting some of his famous dialogues.


The actor, who recently backed the Marathi film Baba, rued the fact he hasn’t been able to hone his Marathi skills yet. Speaking about it, he said, “One of the policemen at Yerwada jail did try to teach me Marathi when I was serving my jail term there. However, I haven’t mastered the language yet.” On the work front, Dutt will soon be seen in KGF: Chapter 2.
