After making fans wait for 20 long years, the makers of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer ‘Gadar’ finally announced the sequel in October this year. While the shooting of the same has been going on in full swing, it recently courted controversy over their shooting location.

The team has been shooting in Himachal Pradesh. Some important scenes of the film were recently shot in Bhaled village near Himachal Pradesh’s Palampur. And now, the owner of the property, where the shooting was held for 10 days, has accused the makers of cheating and fraud, a report on a news portal stated.

The owner of the property told the news portal that the shooting was supposed to be done only in three rooms and one hall only. He also added that the makers had agreed to pay the rent of Rs 11,000 for a day.

However, now, according to him, the makers are making use of the entire house and even the house of his elder brother. The owner also added that they are facing a lot of problems due to the shooting. He has reportedly given a bill of Rs 56 lakh to the makers of ‘Gadar 2’ and has demanded the makers to stop shooting the film in his house.

Sunny, Ameesha and others started shooting for the film earlier this month and have been sharing pictures and videos from the sets of the film with their fans on their respective social media handles.

Apart from Sunny and Ameesha, the Anil Sharma directorial will also star Utkarsh Sharma in a key role.
