‘Pushpa’ Hindi maintains a strong hold at the box office with 19 crore – Times of India

‘Pushpa’ (Hindi) continued with its strong at the box office on Tuesday. The film is received a positive response from several mass pockets across the country. According to boxofficeindia.com, this Allu Arjun starrer raked in 3.75 crore nett on Tuesday. The film is doing good business in multiplexes on weekdays than it was during the weekend. The Hindi version of ‘Pushpa’ has earned Rs 19.80 crore in five days at the box office. Going by the current trend, the film is expected to rake in around 26-27 crore nett by the end of this week.

‘Pushpa’ is doing good business sin the Maharashtra and Gujarat circuits. However from Friday the film will face some stiff competition with the release of Ranveer Singh starrer ’83. Directed by Kabir Khan, this sports drama is expected to take over box office.

‘Pushpa’ is originally a Telugu-language action drama, which has been released in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages. Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in the lead, this entertainer is written and directed by Sukumar. Apart from its popularity, this Allu Arjun starrer is in the news for this item song by Samantha. The number is titled ‘Oo Solriya’ in Tamil and ‘Oo Antava’ in Telugu and it has landed in controversy as a case has been reportedly filed against it. The complainant has filed a case in an Andhra Pradesh court stating that the song portrays men as lustful through the lyrics and that a ban should be imposed on it.
