Is Ranveer Singh’s next with Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala put on hold after the failure of ’83? – Times of India

Ranveer Singh, who is currently the man of the moment, is flooded with a lot of scripts, especially biopics. With his latest stint in ’83, the directors and producers are highly impressed with his breakthrough performance. According to the latest reports, Ranveer was set to reunite with Kabir Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala for another project after ’83. But now it looks like the project has been put on the back-burner since ’83 under-performed at the box office.

ETimes earlier reported that he might be seen playing the role of a paraplegic swimmer. He confirmed in an interview with ETimes that he is in discussion for 5 biopics and three of those biopics are of sportspersons. When we asked him if one of the three is that of a paraplegic swimmer, he replied, “I guess we should rather wait and give this time, those 5 biopics are all in different stages of development and hopefully one of them will develop into an extraordinary script and you will hear an official announcement soon.”

While ’83 tanked at the box-office, other films like ‘Pushpa‘ and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ have collected a huge number at the box office despite the Omicron outbreak. Ranveer and Deepika Padukone starrer has not managed to attract cine-goers in big numbers. The reports suggest that this might be the reason behind Ranveer’s next getting postponed.

On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in ‘Cirkus‘, ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.
