Just like ‘Shershaah’, this action drama will also tell the story of a soldier on a mission to save the nation and is expected to release in November this year. Apart from Sidharth Malhotra, ‘Yodha’ has Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in the lead.
The action flick has grabbed headlines ever since it was announced, especially for the much-talked-about casting. Earlier Shahid Kapoor was signed to play the lead but when he backed out of the film Sidharth Malhotra was roped in.

Vikram Batra, who attained martyrdom in the 1999 Kargil War, in ‘Shershaah’. His role as a soldier has been well-received by the audience and the actor himself has said, “For me, there is so much I have learned through this film, though I have experienced a bit of the Army through my grandfather, but here to really dive deep into the details of it, it is the Army etiquette, the discipline.”
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Yodha’, the versatile actor has two more interesting films, ‘Thank God’ and ‘Mission Majnu’, in the pipeline. Such is his popularity that Sidharth’s upcoming films ‘Mission Majnu’, ‘Thank God’, and ‘Yodha’ have reportedly been offered huge money by OTT giants for their direct digital release.
