According to her, a lot of people still have that assumption. The actress is thankful to Salman because she would’ve never entered the industry if it was not for him. He helped her enter the industry. However, her struggle started after she became a part of the industry because then she knew nothing, Zareen told a news portal.
Elaborating further, the actress added that Salman is an amazing person but he is also a busy man. She cannot be a monkey on his back and bother him for little things. Zareen also went on to state that a lot of people to date think that all the work she does is through him and that’s not true. According to her, Salman is a friend and is just a phone call away but she is pestering him. And that undermines the struggle, the hard work that she has done.
Even after completing 12 glorious years in the industry, Zareen still feels that she is replaceable. According to her, she has always been very content in her own space and has never been a part of any race. However, she does think that unless you are an A-lister, people won’t wait for you.
