Ranveer Singh has been rooting for the film an is most excited for its release since the beginning. So much that when he had jetted off to an undisclosed destination with Deepika last year, he shared a picture from the vacay and smartly plugged in ‘Gehraiyaan’ in the caption. “My baby promoting Gehraiyaan on her birthday,” he captioned a picture of Deepika swimming in the waters.
In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Deepika Padukone was asked about the same, to which she rolled her eyes and said, “You can also talk about how I promoted his film,” perhaps referring to the dinner date where she imitated Ranveer Singh from ’83.
Further talking about Ranveer’s reaction to the trailer, Deepika revealed that he has been a big champion of Shakun Batra and her working together.
‘Gehraiyaan’ also stars Dhairya Karwa and is directed by Shakun Batra. It is a story that dives into the depths of complex modern relationships, adulting, letting go and taking control of ones’ life path. “How we traverse through the maze of feelings and emotions and how each step, each decision we make affects our lives and the lives of those around.
