Early Sunday morning, doting husband Suraj took to his handle to share some stunning photos of his wifey in her gorgeous bridal avatar. Sharing a couple of photos of Mouni in her gorgeous red lehenga, the businessman captioned it with a red heart emoticon.
Mouni replied to the post with a couple of emoticons, including a bride emoji and a smiley.
Mouni and Suraj chose to wed in an intimate celebration, surrounded by only close friends and family members. The couple first solemnized their wedding as per Malayali rituals. The couple then sealed the deal with traditional pheras. The star, who hails from West Bengal’s Cooch Behar, honoured her roots by tying the knot in a traditional Bengali ceremony. For the big day, the star turned to couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her gorgeous red lehenga.
Besides giving fans a peek into her wedding festivities by sharing photos and videos on her Instagram stories, the actress has also been sharing pictures from her bridal photo shoot.
“We are married! I found him at last… Hand in hand, blessed by family and friends, We are married! Need your love and blessings… 27.01.22. Love, Suraj and Mouni,” Roy wrote announcing her wedding.
On the work front, Roy will soon be seen in the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra‘ that is slated to release later this year.
