Allu Arjun makes a special visit to Bengaluru to pay tribute to late Puneeth Rajkumar – Times of India

Telugu superstar Allu Arjun made a special visit to Bengaluru yesterday, on the 3rd of January. The ‘Pushpa‘ actor visited Puneeth Rajkumar‘s residence to pay his tributes to the late actor and interact with the latter’s family, including older brother Shiva Rajkumar. A few pictures of the visit are now circulating widely on social media.

Allu Arjun would later share an endearing note on social media along with a picture of him paying his humble respects to Puneeth Rajkumar. “My Humble respects To Puneeth Garu. My respect to the rajkumar garu’s family , friends , well wishers & fans,” he wrote as he bowed down with utmost respect to pay homage to the Powerstar who tragically passed away due to a cardiac arrest on October 29th, 2021.

The aftermath of Puneeth Rajkumar’s passing saw a massive frenzy breakout on the streets of Bengaluru. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Karnataka government and the deployed police force that one saw things unfold completely under control, thus allowing fans and admirers from all over to pay their tributes to Appu’s mortal remains in a rather disciplined manner. And this also ensured that many of Puneeth Rajkumar’s colleagues, especially from the Telugu Film Industry, could pay homage to the 46-year-old actor.

However, Allu Arjun, who was unable to come down to Bengaluru at the time due to other commitments, made sure to personally condole the death of the ‘James‘ actor and also interact with the Dr. Rajkumar family during his visit. Allu Arjun is currently shooting for the second installment of ‘Pushpa’, titled ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.

Puneeth Rajkumar’s ‘James’, on the other hand, is gearing for a March 17th release to mark his 47th birth anniversary. Following his demise, older brother Shiva Rajkumar stepped in to dub for his character and also play a cameo in the film along with Raghavendra Rajkumar.
