The film is scheduled to go on floors this month. Reports say that a huge set is erected in Mumbai and the team is set to start shooting after a delay due to the pandemic.
According to Pinkvilla, Sajid and Salman have finalised the release date and they have decided to bring the film on Eid 2023. Their previous release, ‘Kick‘ was also an Eid release that managed to impress the audience and set the box office on fire. The report suggests that the duo will be officially making an announcement soon. The film also stars South actor Venkatesh. It will be helmed by Farhad Samji.
Earlier, Pooja expressed her excitement of working with Salman in the film. She told ETimes, “I am really excited to work with Salman Khan. The film’s shoot got postponed due to the pandemic, but we will soon start shooting for it. What I really admire about him is that he is very transparent–if he likes you, he really likes you, and if he doesn’t, then you can tell he doesn’t. I really like that. In a world where people can be fake, it’s really nice to at least know where you stand with a person. And that’s something that takes a lot of guts to do–to be frank and honest about how you feel about the person; I think that is great.”
Meanwhile, Sajid and Salman also have ‘Kick 2’ in the pipeline which will star Jacqueline Fernandez. The first part was highly appreciated by the fans and it also enjoyed a good run at the box office.
