The complaint was reportedly filed from Sircilla district by VHP president Chapuri Ashok for demeaning the Hindu community and its followers by faulty imitating them and making fun of them on her youtube content. The VHP president showed the unpleasant content to the police and had filed a complaint at the local police station and later transferred it to the Banjara Hills Police station in Hyderabad recently.
The alleged youtube video was uploaded on her Youtube Channel on February 2021 and it was reportedly shot at a local restaurant with Sarayu and others donning the saffron headband with printed slogans ‘Ganapati Bappa Moriya’. The complainant VHP president sought strict action against the controversial actress for repeatedly coming up with such content.

Earlier, she reportedly used abusive language by naming the character Seetha in one of her youtube short films. Professionally, She was last seen as a participant in Bigg Boss Telugu last season.
