In an interview with a news publication, Arjun said that he was prepared for the reaction to be extreme from trolls. According to him, nothing prepares you except going through it. The actor also added that he has been through situations in life that have been far worse, right from seeing his parents split up, losing his mom to having to go through seeing the upheaval of his father, losing out on a loved one, his wife Sridevi. Arjun feels that all these things have made him realise that life is very fickle and temporary, and only love is permanent.
Elaborating further, Arjun added standing up doesn’t always mean being in your face. It sometimes is just about holding your own silently and doing your thing, living each day and not thinking so much about the negativity.
According to him, it hurts you temporarily and then you put perspective by realising that you’re strong enough to face so much more than nameless, faceless people on social media spewing hate. The actor also added that there’s so much relevance to Malaika and his relationship that everybody wants to have a say. Arjun stated that he just takes it as a compliment that everyone likes talking about them.
Meanwhile, on the work front, he has films like, ‘Kuttey’ and ‘Ek Villain Returns’ in his pipeline.
