The actress shared a collage of herself and the late singer-composer. On one side was a picture of Bappi wearing his trademark gold jewellery and on the other side was an image of Adah wearing multiple gold rings and chains. She captioned the post, ‘Who wore it better?’

As soon as she shared the post, comments started pouring in from all sides. Netizens claimed that the post was in poor taste. While one commented, ‘Don’t compare yourself with a legend just for 5 seconds of fame’, another person added, ‘This is so disrespectful.’
Bappi Lahiri passed away at a Mumbai hospital on February 16. The doctor treating the late singer-composer revealed the cause of death as Obstructive Sleep Apnea. He said, “He died due to OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) shortly before midnight. He was cremated with full state honours on February 17. The last rites were performed by his son Bappa who returned from LA after the untimely demise.
On the work front, his last song for a Bollywood film was titled ‘Bhankas’ which was a part of the soundtrack for the Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Baaghi 3’.
