‘Chakda Xpress’: Anushka Sharma kick-starts her prep-work; learns how to bowl like Jhulan Goswami – Times of India

Anushka Sharma has started the preparation for her film, ‘Chakda Xpress’. The actress has now taken to her social media handle to give a glimpse of her prep process. She showed us that she is getting into the skin of the celebrated Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami by learning how to bowl like her!

The actress posted a picture of her bowling at the nets and captioned it “Grip by Grip Prep #ChakdaXpress”. It is one of the highly anticipated films of the year, which is inspired by the life and times of cricketer Jhulan. Jhulan holds the world record for the highest number of wickets taken by a woman in an international career.

The film will trace Jhulan’s inspirational journey as she moves up the ladder despite the hindrances posed by misogynistic politics to fulfil her dream of playing cricket for India. She went on to become the captain the Indian women’s national cricket team and is a role model for aspiring cricketers in the country.

As per reports, Anushka will be flying to the UK to shoot a 30-day schedule of the cricket film.

On the work front, the actress was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’ with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
