But Salman will soon hop on to producer Sajid Nadiadwala‘s set of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is slated to go on the floor in the first week of April. To be directed by Farhad Samji the film is also said to feature other popular actors including Zaheer Iqbal, who was launched by Salman in Notebook back in 2019. ETimes has learnt that there are talks going on with Govinda’s nephew Krushna Abhishek and Shreyas Talpade, to feature in the cast, too.
Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will also be the first time that actress Pooja Hegde works with Salman Khan. They did feature together in the recently concluded Dabangg tour, though. But they haven’t yet featured in a film together. Salman has been all praise for his co-star Pooja and her acting potential.
With Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, Telugu actor Venkatesh will be seen in a Bollywood film after a really long time. Sources believe he is likely to play Salman’s brother in the film.
Meanwhile, producer Sajid Nadiadwala is also working on the script of Kick 2, with which he will return to directing Salman Khan.
