The film was directed by Saagar K Chandra that has Nithya Menen and Samyukta playing female leads. The film is an official remake of the 2020 superhit Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ that starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead roles.
Rana reprised the role of Prithviraj while Pawan Kalyan did Biju Menon in the Telugu remake.
The film is said to be a faithful remake that had a screenplay written by Trivikram Srinivas. The film is also comparatively massy with crispy editing by Naveen Nooli compared to the original classy version with the huge length of the film.
The film’s musical track composed by SS.Thaman is a superhit with the audience.
The film has reportedly collected over Rs 16 crores at the USA box office for 5 days till now. This is said to be the highest in the US for Pawan Kalyan, his previous film to do such good business was ‘Agnyathavaasi’ that reportedly minted $ 2M in the USA.
