CS Amudhan wants the Ilaiyaraaja-A.R.Rahman combo music for his film – Times of India

The last few hours has taken the internet by storm as both the music geniuses AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja had a conversation about their collaboration. The news has amused many fans of the music maestros. This piece of news has left almost everyone excited and fans are eagerly waiting to listen to that ‘out of the box’ composition by Ilaiyaraaja and A.R.Rahman.

Earlier, AR Rahman shared a photo from his Firdaus Studio in Dubai with Ilaiyaraaja stating that he hopes Ilaiyaraaja composes something for the Firdaus Orchestra to play in the future. Following this, Ilaiyaraaja in his reply accepted the request made by AR Rahman and also stated that he will start composing it soon.

In the meantime, Tamil movie director CS Amudhan jumped into their conversation and shared a tweet stating that if the composition is good enough, he will use it. Taking this opportunity, he expressed his desire to work with AR Rahman and Ilaiyaraaja for his upcoming films.

Replying to CS Amudhan’s tweet, director Venkat Prabhu who is also the nephew of Ilaiyaraaja sarcastically commented that it was only possible for CS Amudhan to say like that.

Though the director stated it with humour, fans are loving the fun banter between CS Amudhan and Venkat Prabhu.

CS Amudhan made his debut with the film ‘Tamizh Padam’ which is a satirical parody film. He has also directed ‘Tamizh Padam 2’. These two movies can be considered as spoofs of other Tamil films that have been released over the years. Now, he is directing the film titled ‘Ratham’ featuring Vijay Antony. This might be the film where we can see CS Amudhan in a serious direction which is much different from his first two comedy films.
