As per reports, ‘Selfiee‘ is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam-language comedy-drama ‘Driving Licence‘. It featured Prithviraj Sukumaran as a superstar and Suraj Venjaramoodu in the role of a motor vehicle inspector. The report also suggested that the film will be helmed by Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Raj Mehta who has previously worked with Akshay in ‘Good Newws’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay was last seen in filmmaker Aanand L.Rai’s film ‘Atrangi Re’ co-starring Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush. He is gearing up for the release of ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ with Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi.
Emraan, on the other hand, is a part of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tiger 3’. Last week, the makers revealed the release date of their film. It will hit the big screen during Eid 2023. The stars have wrapped the Delhi schedule. Emraan was last seen in ‘Chehre’ with Amitabh Bachchan and Rhea Chakraborty.
