Recently, he was quizzed about his formula to box office success. The ‘Holiday’ star said that he considers himself “lucky”. Talking to Mid Day, he also stated that there isn’t any fixed formula and everything is a combination of hard work and luck. Akki said that he had his share of ups and downs including 14 to 16 flops in a row and he is thinking is to keep on working. He concluded by saying that everybody’s time deserves to be respected, so he doesn’t waste anybody’s time.
The ‘Kesari’ will be shooting for his upcoming film ‘Selfiee‘ co-starring Emraan Hashmi. Set to take place in Bhopal, it is also being speculated that Jacqueline Fernandez can also be part of the film besides Diana Penty. However, there’s no confirmation.
Apart from this, he also has ‘Prithiviraj’, ‘Ram Setu‘, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Mission Cinderella’ and ‘OMG: Oh My God! 2‘ in his kitty.
Directed by Farhad Samji, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjay Mishra and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. The film is slated to release in theatres on 18th March.
