Kareena Kapoor has finally joined the OTT bandwagon with an unusual, interesting project. Directed by Sujoy Ghosh, Bebo will play the lead in a murder mystery based on the 2005 Japanese bestseller ‘The Devotion of Suspect X’. This promising entertainer will star Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma alongside Kareena. We just can’t wait for Bebo to take over our TVs with her electrifying performance in this thriller.
While celebrities are going all gung-ho about digital streaming services, theatre owners are crying foul. Dulquer Salmaan is facing strong opposition from Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK), who has called a ban on the actor’s future movies. This uproar emerged after the actor announced that his upcoming home production film ‘Salute’ will release on OTT. The theatre owners association has said they will not co-operate with projects featuring and produced by Dulquer Salmaan.
Speaking of controversies, there’s one brewing around ‘Andaaz Apna Apna’ sequel. Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi has gone on record to say that he penning the script of ‘Andaz Apna Apna 2’. However, kin of late Vinay Kumar Sinha, who produced the first part, have expressed shock.Vinay Kumar Sinha’s daughter Priti Sinha told our bees, that they have the exclusive rights of ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and the second part cannot be made without their family’s consent. They are also in the process of hiring a writer and director, but they are also open to collaborating with Rajkumar Santoshi, provided he comes up with a ‘fantastic’ script. We are keeping our fingers crossed for yet another comic caper!
