Rishi Kapoor’s last movie, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ will be soon showcased on a streaming platform. And ahead of its release, the late actor’s son Ranbir Kapoor, shared a heartwarming message for Rishi Kapoor’s fans. The actor revealed his father wished to complete the film at all costs despite his health deteriorating. Ranbir also thanked Paresh Rawal for stepping in to complete Rishi Kapoor’s swansong.

Remembering his father, Ranbir stated, “You must have heard ‘The show must go on’, but I’ve seen Papa live his life. ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ will always be my one of the fondest memories of my father. Up on screen, bringing a smile to his countless fans.” Ranbir Kapoor also urged the audience to shower love on the film, just the way they praised late Rishi Kapoor. The trailer of ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ is set to release tomorrow. Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’ promises to narrate a heartwarming story of self-realization and discovery. The film dwells on the life of a recently retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a riotous women’s kitty circle.

The film stars late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, both of whom play the titular character, alongside Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha, and Isha Talwar. The movie will premiere on a streaming platform on March 31.
