Filmmaker Digpal Lanjekar recently announced the release date of his upcoming historical epic ‘Sher Shivraj’ on the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti.
Piquing his fan’s interest, actor Chinmay Mandlekar unveiled his first look as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from his upcoming film ‘Sher Shivraj’.
In the first look, the ‘Pawankhind’ actor looks fierce while sporting a heavy beard and a turban. Sharing the poster, Mandlekar wrote, “जावळीच्या जंगलाचा राजा एकच…

Talking about the film, ‘Sher Shivraj Hai’ will not only focus on the killing of Afzal Khan but also based on the unique war and psychological techniques Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj exhibited during the mission. This will also focus on different aspects of the Maratha warrior king.
The film is slated to release on 22 April 2022.
