Talking exclusively about it to Bombay Times, Rakul says, “I have always been a beach person and I never get bored of water. My Maldives vacation was outstanding. There’s just so many things that I loved doing – right from just sitting by the beach, listening to the waves, the sounds, soaking in the sunset and getting tanned, to all the watersports. I did everything: scuba-diving, fishing, jet-ski safari, water boarding and snorkeling. Everyday there were one or two activities and it was just amazing. It was an experience that I will always remember and cherish,” says the actress.
Jet Ski Safari was something that had Rakul excited the most because it was the first time she participated in this water sport. For this outing she “wore special anti-tan clothes” just to stay safe from the sun rays when out in the open ocean. This was an exhilarating sport and involved her “to ride around 15 to 30 kms into the ocean”.
Her beachwear style got her a lot of hearts on her insta posts and talking about it Rakul says, “Everyone’s beach style is different. Mine is just colourful, fun, easy, like resort-wear and bikinis. Something in which you can just jump into the water at any given point! My beach style is a pop of some lovely colours that go with the water and something in which I can feel free and in which my spirit is free. Beach fashion for me is a mix of comfort, sexiness, and just chill. And so, it has to be just whatever you wish and whatever puts you in a holiday mood instantly.”
When asked about the best part of her Maldives vacation, she says, “The best thing was that I was able to disconnect from the mad routine. And also the next few months are gonna be crazy so I just gave myself that little break. And are now back to the grind!”
