Tiger Shroff isn’t just going to kick-up a storm of action in his upcoming film Heropanti 2, he’s also going to be singing for AR Rahman. The young action star has lent his voice to the song Miss Hairan for the film. Speaking about this development, Heropanti 2‘s producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “It is a great feeling to have first launched Tiger as an actor and now as a singer. I knew he has been a singer and has been signing from his school days. It’s a big deal that AR Rahman sir has approved him.”
ETimes asked Sajid if Tiger was the only choice to sing for a Rahman tune or did he give a test and was then finalised. To this Sajid replied, “Knowing Tiger, I am sure he must have given a test for his singing, too.” Tiger Shroff had made his singing debut in 2020 with a song named Unbelievable. Later, he also released another track called Casanova. Last year when he sang a reprised version of Vande Mataram in a video produced by Jackky Bhagnani and directed by Remo D’Souza.
Tiger’s penchant for singing on public platforms can be dated back to 2016, if not earlier, when he took to the stage at the launch of the music video Befikra with Disha Patani and sang a few lines from the song impromptu on stage.
