Nana Patekar to star in Ananth Narayan Mahadevan’s social thriller ‘The Confession’ – Times of India


Veteran actor Nana Patekar is all set to play a key role in the upcoming thriller ‘The Confession’. The teaser of the social thriller, being directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, was released on Saturday and it has already created quite a lot of buzz.

In the teaser, we can see an edited image of Nana in a courtroom while a voiceover from the actor plays through the teaser. Nana can be heard saying in Hindi, “I have already seen the face of truth, even I have heard its voice. Yes, I know the truth but can’t accept it. I am willing to give up my life for it.” This interesting voice-over has made everyone curious about the film’s plotline. It will also be interesting to see how Nana is projected in this film, especially after playing such a wide range of characters throughout his career.

Meanwhile, Nana Patekar was in the news recently when commenting on the ongoing controversy surrounding the film ‘The Kashmir Files’. Speaking to the media he said that both Hindus and Muslims belong to India and divisions in society are not desirable. The Khamoshi actor further said that a controversy erupting over a film is not good.

The seasoned actor was last seen as an antagonist in the Rajinikanth starrer ‘Kaala’ (2018).
