Shahid took to his Instagram handle to share a fun-filled video and it’s Beyonce’s drop challenge that is trending big time these days. In the video, Shahid can be seen working on his makeup for the day and then they take a break to squat down. Next, Shahid, his ‘Jersey co-star Mrunal Thakur and others walk towards the camera and they once again squat down. Towards the end of the video, Shahid and his team can be seen checking on some papers. Suddenly he shouts, “Book your tickets.” Others reply with a “now”. There is also text on the video that reads, “Did you hear? Jersey’s advance booking drops today.” Shahd and team nailed the drop challenge.
Sharing the video Shahid captioned, “OMG”. While fans showered their love Mira Rajput too reacted in the comment space.
‘Jersey’ will release in the theatres on April 14. The sports film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu hit of the same name that featured Nani in the lead. The film also has veteran actor and Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur in a key role. Shahid Kapoor will be seen as Arjun in the film. Mrunal Thakur plays his girlfriend-turned-wife. The story revolves around a cricketer, who returns to the field in his 30s for the sake of his son.
