Alia Bhatt’s big brother Rahul Bhatt revealed that there has been a change of plans as too many leaks raised a security threat for the couple. Giving us all a silver lining, he said that fans can expect an official announcement from the couple “soon” and left a cookie trail that suggested the wedding is still around the corner, sometime next week, on April 20.
We also got some exclusive first shots of the bride-to-be busy filming ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Dressed in her best desi avatar, Alia hit the dance floor with co-star Ranveer Singh for a song sequence that will also feature Jaya Bachchan ji.
We asked Sanjay Dutt what he had to say to Ranbir Kapoor on his upcoming wedding. “Is he getting married?” Dutt asked, seemingly unaware of all the frenzy. He went on to give Kapoor some words of advice besides the usual — get married and ‘make babies’. Dutt said, “Marriage is a commitment they are making to each other. And they have to stick by that, hold each other’s hands and move ahead in happiness, peace and glory.”
Shahid Kapoor finally reacted to the chatter suggesting that he and team ‘Jersey’ threw in the towel to avoid a clash with ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and ‘Beast’. Producer Aman Gill also took a raincheck on the movie date and said, “As a team, we have put our blood sweat and tears into Jersey and would like our beloved film to reach all of you in the widest possible way. ‘Jersey’ will now be released on 22nd April.”
The much-awaited teaser of Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Dhaakad’ was unveiled today. “Why should boys have all the fun?” she asked as she showed our slick action heroes how it is really done. Not afraid to gouge out eyeballs, and literally spill guts, Kangana assured all that she can do anything boys can, and can do so in high heels!
