Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor to seek blessing at THIS popular temple in Mumbai on the first day after their wedding: Reports – Times of India

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are getting married today in an intimate wedding ceremony with just their close friends and family members in attendance.

The guests have already arrived at the venue and while we were waiting for further updates, we came across a report that stated that the couple will be visiting one of Mumbai’s iconic places, the Siddhivinayak temple on the first day after their marriage.

According to a report in BollywoodLife.com, Ranbir and Alia will visit Siddhivinayak temple after their wedding ceremony. The couple will seek blessings from Lord Ganesha on the first day of their marriage.

They are not the first ones to visit the iconic temple after their wedding. Several Bollywood couples like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have also been spotted seeking blessings at Siddhivinayak temple after their marriage.

Another report in the news portal also revealed that as per the Punjabi tradition, the bride and groom stay in one room for four days and there is a puja that they have to do every morning and on the fourth day, they take a bath and sit on a Satya Narayan puja and after that groom puts a red colour sindoor on the bride and takes a promise of forever.

The report also added that Alia’s to-be mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor is very particular about all the rituals and she cannot wait to welcome her daughter-in-law home.

Ranbir and Alia are expected to reportedly host two grand wedding receptions for their industry friends. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same as yet.
