Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are now man and wife. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at RK’s Vastu house in the presence of close family members and friends. Besides the obvious Neetu Singh, Mahesh Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Riddhima Kapoor, Shaheen Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt who are immediate family members, many others like Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Babita Kapoor, Rima Jain, Neela Devi, Armaan Jain, Aadar Jain, Rahul Bhatt were seen arriving at the venue before the pheras.
However, it came as a surprise that Alia’s uncles Mukesh Bhatt and Robin Bhatt were missing from the phera ceremony. The guest list was limited, however, many close friends of the couple viz Ayan Mukerji, Akansha Ranjan, Karan Johar, Aarti Shetty, Luv Ranjan among others marked their presence at the nuptials.
While Robin Bhatt had been speaking to media and sharing updates about the wedding dates and other ceremonies, Mukesh Bhatt was the one who said Soni Razdan has requested not to discuss about the wedding until it is done.
Meanwhile, dhol nagadas are being played at Vastu and laddoos being distributed to the media. The newlyweds are expected to make a public appearance sometime post 7 pm. So watch this space for more updates.
