‘RRR’ Hindi earns a total of Rs 247 crore, emerges as the highest grossing film post the pandemic – Times of India


SS Rajamouli directed ‘RRR’ has caused a rampage at the box office. The film’s Hindi dubbed version as emerged as the highest grosser entertainer post the pandemic. After its fourth Saturday at the box office, ‘RRR’ (Hindi) now stands at a total of Rs 247 crore, reports Boxofficeindia. ‘RRR’ (Hindi) has reportedly managed to beat the lifetime collection of ‘The Kashmir Files’, which had earned Rs 242 crore during its theatrical run.

However, ‘RRR’ Hindi may not be able to hold this top position for long as ‘KGF 2’ Hindi is also earning big at the box office. ‘RRR’ Hindi and ‘KGF 2’ Hindi, both are enjoying a decent run at the box office currently. ‘RRR’ (Hindi) is expected to touch the Rs 250 crore nett mark at the end of its fourth weekend and may earn a total of around Rs 275 crore at the end of its theatrical run. The action entertainer has performed exceptionally well in mass circuits like Rajsthan and Bihar.

‘RRR’ is a period saga starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran and others. Soon after the release of ‘RRR’, a few fans had expressed displeasure over NTR’s low-key role in the second half of the movie. When quizzed about the same, the actor stated, “I always maintained and am aware of the fact that Rajamouli has given equal importance to both Ram and Bheem roles. No insecurities involved. We both complimented each other beautifully. While there are scenes elevating one hero at one time, Rajamouli had placed another elevation scene for the other.”
