The lifetime collection of ‘KGF 2’ Hindi will also be humongous, but a lot will depend on its second week at the box office. For now it looks like the film may settle for Rs 350 crore or a little over that, at the end of its theatrical run. ‘KGF 2’ Hindi will face some competition from Shahid Kapoor starrer ‘Jersey’ in a few circuits.
Prashanth Neel has called the shots for this period drama, starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon. Speaking about reuniting with Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon had told ETimes, “We were very happy that we are doing this film. Unfortunately we had no scenes together so to speak. But we were looking forward to at least hanging out one evening and now it’s been such a long association that it’s so much fun. I always meet Manayata and Sanju socially, Priya is a friend and our sons are now there in the same school together, my dad and Sunil Dutt sir were very good friends. So it has always been a family association kind of a thing. We were looking forward to actually working together but we didn’t have a scene together. It was like when I would be landing, he would be finishing his work and when I would finish, I would take off and so we never got the chance. But we used to meet at Bombay in any case. So yeah, it’s always great fun working with him.”
